LAB BURGERS


SCIENTISTS SAY WE'RE MOVING CLOSER TO EATING HAMBURGERS GROWN IN A LAB. HARVARD RESEARCHERS HAVE GROWN COW AND RABBIT MEAT FROM A GELATIN BASE AND THEY SAY IT'S CLOSE TO THE REAL THING. THE TEXTURE HAS BEEN HARD TO REPRODUCE IN PREVIOUS TESTS, BUT THEY THINK THEY FINALLY GOT IT DOWN. WE'RE STILL A FEW YEARS AWAY FROM SEEING THIS TYPE OF MEAT IN OUR GROCERY STORES, BUT THEY SAY THIS DEVELOPMENT IS ONE BIG STEP CLOSER TO ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY MEAT
