Preferred Insurance Pledges $10,000 Donation to Mercer County Fairgrounds' Grand Event Center + Market Hall Project

Celina, Ohio – March 21, 2024 – Mercer County Fairgrounds is thrilled to announce a generous pledge of $10,000 from Preferred Insurance, headquartered in Coldwater, Ohio, towards the Grand Event Center + Market Hall project. This significant contribution will be distributed over the next five years, aiding in the realization of this ambitious project, slated for completion by 2028.

Andy Kremer, Chief Growth Officer of Preferred Insurance, expressed the company's motivation behind the donation, stating, "We chose to donate to the Grand Event Center because it could significantly impact economic development by attracting tourism and stimulating local businesses through increased foot traffic and event-related spending. This will all contribute to the growth and vitality of our county."

The Grand Event Center + Market Hall project aims to establish a premier venue for community gatherings, cultural events, trade shows, and more, enhancing Mercer County's appeal as a destination for both residents and visitors alike. The Market Hall component of the project will provide a dedicated space for local artisans, farmers, and entrepreneurs to showcase their products, fostering economic growth and entrepreneurship within the region.

The Mercer County Fairgrounds extends its deepest gratitude to Preferred Insurance for their generous support and commitment to the community's growth and prosperity.
