49 year old Shawn Steinke of Celina has been placed on 5 years of probation and will register as a sex offender for 25 years for stalking and watching children at bus stops in the local area. Steinke was sentenced in Mercer County Common Pleas Court this week on a 4th degree felony charge of menacing by stalking. Steinke also received a 180 day suspended jail sentence and has been ordered to undergo a sex offender treatment program. Steinke was originally arrested last year for watching children in the Celina area. Steinke violated terms of his bond in November of last year when he was seen watching and talking to children at bus stops in Fort Recovery.
