A sentencing date for the St Marys man who is accused of sex crimes against minor has been set. 37 year old Matt Storer will be sentenced on Thursday October 3rd at 10 am in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court. Recently, Storer took a plea deal where he pleaded guilty to a third felony charge of sexual battery and 2 third degree felony charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Other charges were dismissed. Storer will be classified as a Tier III Sex Offender and will register with the police for life. According to the prosecutor's office, the agreement calls for Storer to serve 6 years in prison. However, the Judge has discretion to impose up to 15 years.
