"In the next few months, you will see a new face as your Chief of Police. After much consideration and discernment, I have decided to retire in October after 26 years of law enforcement. It was not an easy decision but know I have been honored and privileged to have served as your Chief of Police. I have had the opportunity to serve alongside some of the best young men and women in law enforcement. Our community is fortunate to have these talented professionals continue to make it safe to live, work, and play. I want to sincerely thank them for making the last seven years, while serving as Chief, the most enjoyable of my career.
