Leila was a 1951 graduate of Coldwater High School, spending her freshman year at Salem Heights Convent in Dayton, OH.  She was employed at New Idea in Coldwater, OH before devoting the next chapter of her career to her parents' wholesale business.  After falling in love with Larry Dine in 1956, they married and embarked on an adventure of love and togetherness for over 50 years.  Leila devoted her life to her husband and children.  She was an excellent cook and, together with Larry, hosted many wonderful family gatherings over the years that will be fondly cherished.  Known for her vibrant spirit, she was never happier than when she was dancing or traveling with Larry, tending to her landscaping, or enjoying a good scotch, often enjoying multiple passions at once.  As a young mother, she used her creativity to sew clothing for her growing family.  She enjoyed researching and pursuing better health through holistic approaches and natural foods, decades before it became a trend.  In midlife, and much to her delight, she became an avid, skilled golfer.  Once her children were grown, she had more time to renew her creative interest in fine art, primarily working with watercolor and chalk pastels.  She had an eye for beauty and was known for creating engaging and appealing spaces.  A devout Catholic, Leila was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, OH.  She will be remembered for always trying her best.  Her legacy of creativity and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her.  She will be remembered with love by her family and friends.
