The Celina Board of Education held its October meeting Monday night October 21st. The board heard from several community members who expressed their concern about several components of the district's building plan, especially the fate of the Celina Field House and Football field. Following the comments from the community, Celina School Superintendent Brooke Gessler announced that there would be special meetings focused on this topic.

The board also allowed a change to the school calendar because the construction schedule at Celina Elementary is ahead of schedule. Gessler explains.
