22 year old Eugene Ferrell of St Marys was arrested this past weekend for a 1st degree misdemeanor charge of assault. According to the complaint filed in Celina Municipal Court, Ferrell allegedly struck the victim in the head with a bar stool early Sunday morning while at the Boots and Bourbon Bar in Celina causing injuries. Ferrell was taken to the Mercer County Jail. He was released pending his arraignment on Monday.
