Voters in Mercer and Auglaize Counties will head to the polls with the rest of the nation to vote on national, state and local elections. In both counties, voters will chose a state representative between incumbent Republican Angie King and Democratic challenger Arienne Childrey. Voters will also decide the fate of Issue 1, an amendment that would create a redistricting commission. Mercer County voters will decide on a 1 mill levy to fund Mercer County EMS Services. Coldwater voters will decide on a half-percent income tax for the school district. Auglaize County Voters will decide on several local levies. These will include tax levies in St Marys Township, the village of Cridersville and Wayne Township and the Village of Waynesfield.
