At Monday Night's meeting, the Celina City Council passed the first reading of an ordinance to adopt and enact the 2023 and 24 replacement pages to the city's codified ordinances.  The Council also passed the second reading of an ordinance making changes to the city's swimming pool ordinance to allow for motorized pool covers. The Council also passed the  third reading of an ordinance changing the zoning classification for property at 457 Grand Lake Road from residential or office district to manufacturing. During the meeting, there was discussion about whether or not the city's half-percent income tax, which is used for police and fire and road projects, can be used to pay personnel.
