58 year old Douglas Painter of Bluffton, Indiana is in the Mercer County Jail after being arrested for a series of thefts from the Celina Walmart. Painter faces misdemeanor charges of criminal mischief and theft. According to court records, Painter allegedly stole nearly 400 dollars in merchandise on November 17th and on November 30th, Painter is accused of stealing a Sony Radio valued at approximately 250 dollars by removing it from its packaging and concealing it in his jacket. Painter is being held on $50,000 bond pending a court appearance.
