According to court records, 30 year old Sammy Huston of Celina has been charged with a 5th degree felony count of practicing medicine without a license. According to online records with the Auglaize County Municipal Court, the alleged crime occured on December 16th. A warrant was issued for Huston after a complaint by the Minster Police Department. Huston is due in court for a bond hearing on Friday December 20th at 9:15 and for a preliminary hearing on Thursday December 26th at 10 am in Auglaize County Municipal Court. PRESS RELEASE

December 20, 2024

Minster, OH — December 17, 2024 — On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at
approximately 5:25 PM, officers from the Minster Police Department responded
to a request for assistance at The Heritage Center, located at 24 N. Hamilton St.

Upon arrival, officers met with the administration of The Heritage Center and
were informed of the recent death of a resident involving suspicious
circumstances. A relative of the deceased, identified as Sammy L. Huston of
Celina, was arrested for practicing medicine without a license or certificate, in
violation of Ohio Revised Code Section 4731.41. Mr. Huston was subsequently
booked into the Auglaize County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing, with the Minster Police Department receiving
support from the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office and the Ohio Bureau of
Criminal Investigation.
