EverHeart Hospice Expands and Offers Growth in the Community

EverHeart Hospice is thrilled to announce the opening of its newly expanded Inpatient Care Center. This significant milestone marks a new chapter in their commitment to providing compassionate care to patients and families experiencing life-limiting illnesses.

The grand opening event, held in their new space on the 3^rd floor of Wayne HealthCare, was a resounding success, bringing together community members, healthcare professionals, and local dignitaries. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the new space, which featured enhanced patient rooms, advanced medical equipment, and comfortable family areas designed to create a serene and supportive environment. Perhaps the most exciting change was the addition of 3 patient rooms, giving them a total of 8 rooms from only 5 in the old space.

In opening remarks, Kristi Strawser, CEO at EverHeart Hospice, expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the expansion project, “This new facility represents our unwavering dedication to improving the quality of life for our patients and their families. We are proud to offer a space that truly reflects our mission of honoring life with trusted care.”

The expanded Care Center is a testament to EverHeart Hospice’s commitment to growth and innovation. With the new facility, they continue the legacy they built 43 years ago as our community’s hospice. This growth and expansion also allow them to bring additional career opportunities to our area.
