Mable A. Meckstroth, 94, of Saint Marys, and formerly of New Knoxville, died January 9, 2025, at St Ritas Medical Center, Lima.
She was born November 20, 1930, in Elida, Ohio, the daughter of Eldrige and Grace (Conkle) Good.

She married Leonard Meckstroth on March 22, 1974, and he preceded her in death. 

She is survived by a niece, Susan (Dale) Brinkman of Columbus Grove; a nephew. Marlin Kirkendall.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. 

Mabel was a homemaker and had previously worked as a nurse’s aide at St Ritas Medical Center, and also at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in Saint Marys when it first opened in 1953.

She was a member of the First Church of New Knoxville, and the Women’s Guild of the Church. 

Graveside funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 3, 2025, at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville, the Reverend Joel Bucklin, officiant.
