For the Celina City Council, there will be new faces next year as Council members Myron Buxton, Eric Baltzell and Mark Fleck did not file for re-election this year. For Ward 1, Democrat Bill Sell and Republican Steve Schulte filed. In Ward 2, Republcan Jeremy Uhlenhake filed. In Ward 3, Republican Chris Dosek and Democrat Erica Lusk filed. Republican Eric Clausen was the only candidate to file for Ward 4. For Celina City Council President, Republican incumbent Jason King will face Democrat Sophia Rodriguez.
