BROWNS STADIUM UPDATE
IN NORTHEAST OHIO, A DEADLINE HAS BEEN SET TO DETERMINE WHETHER THEY CLEVELAND BROWNS WILL CONSTRUCT NEW OR RENOVATE.
MONDAY AFTERNOON, BROWNS OWNER JIMMY HASLAM TOLD A GROUP OF JOURNALISTS AT THE ANNUAL NFL MEETING IN PALM BEACH, FL, THAT HE SHOULD KNOW BY JUNE 30TH IF THE STATE WILL GIVE HIM FUNDING FOR THE DOME STADIUM IN BROOK PARK. AND IF IT DOESN'T HAPPEN, THEY'LL MOVE ON TO PLAN B RENOVATIONS AT HUNTINGTON BANK FIELD. CITY COUNCIL PRESIDENT BLAINE GRIFFIN SAYS HE'S EXTREMELY HAPPY THAT THEY'RE KEEPING THIS OPTION OPEN.
