34 year old Michael Melvin has been sentenced to up to 5 years of community control sanctions for one 5th degree felony count of theft. Melvin will also receive treatment at the WORTH Center in Lima. Melvin pleaded guilty last month and was sentenced this week in Mercer County Common Pleas Court. The case began in April when Melvin was accused of stealing over 55-hundred-dollars worth of store merchandise from a local retailer.
