Tri Star Set to Break Record in ‘Pack the Pallet’ Food Drive
Tri Star Career Compact is preparing to celebrate a major milestone as students and staff get ready for the annual “Pack the Pallet” food drive event Friday at 11:45 a.m.
Tri Star Director Tim Buschur says participants have collected 44,481 food items, surpassing the goal of 40,000 and setting a new record for the program. Since the food drive began, Tri Star students have donated more than 250,000 items to help local families.
This year’s donations will benefit The Call Food Pantry in Celina and Agape Ministries in St. Marys.
The event will take place at Tri Star, where the final total will be announced as students load the donations for delivery.
