Celina City Council will meet Monday, January 26, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at 225 North Main Street. A Utility Committee meeting is also scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Council’s agenda includes three pieces of new business, beginning with an ordinance authorizing a lease agreement between the City of Celina and Foundations Behavioral Health Services, also known as the Recovery Clubhouse, for the lease of the Bryson Park District.
Council will also consider an ordinance allowing the mayor and police chief to enter into a mutual aid agreement with Rockford, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, and Coldwater, with the legislation listed as an emergency measure.
A third ordinance would authorize the safety service director to hire an additional dispatcher for training, also listed as an emergency.
In old business, council is scheduled to hear second readings on a resolution authorizing the sale of unneeded or obsolete city personal property by internet auction during calendar year 2026, and a resolution naming the mayor as Celina’s delegate to represent the city on the Ohio Municipal Electric Association Board of Directors. The OMEA resolution is listed as amended from the January 12 meeting.
The meeting will also include committee reports, communications, administrative reports, and time for audience comments before adjournment.
