Chamber Professionals of Ohio Congratulates Stacy Beougher on Receiving the Michael A. Schultz Chamber Professional of the Year Award
Columbus, Ohio — Chamber Professionals of Ohio (CPO) proudly announces that Stacy Beougher, Executive Director of the Celina-Mercer Chamber of Commerce, has been named the 2025 Michael A. Schultz Chamber Professional of the Year in the Under 600 Members category.
The Michael A. Schultz Professional of the Year Award is the highest honor presented by Chamber Professionals of Ohio. It recognizes an outstanding chamber executive who exemplifies professional excellence, visionary leadership, innovation, and a deep commitment to their community. The award is presented annually in two categories—chambers under 600 members and chambers over 600 members—to ensure recognition of excellence across organizations of all sizes.
Stacy Beougher has served as Executive Director of the Celina-Mercer Chamber of Commerce for the past nine years, dedicating her entire chamber career to strengthening local businesses, supporting civic organizations, and enhancing the overall vitality of Mercer County. Under her leadership, the Chamber consistently retains approximately 360 members annually and continues to deliver meaningful value through advocacy, programming, and community engagement.
A respected community leader, Beougher is a past president and current board member of the Grand Lake Region Visitors Center, serves as a Leadership in Action facilitator for Mercer County’s adult leadership program, coordinates the Grand Lake Area Safety Council, oversees Santa House operations and fundraising, is treasurer of the Celina Farmers Market, sits on the committee for the Celina Downtown Retail Association, and is a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Her impact extends beyond dues-based services through the successful development of several non-dues revenue programs, including An Evening for Race Fans, Taste of Celina, Chamber Golf Outing, the Celina Lake Festival 5K, and a new Youth Leadership Award Scholarship fundraiser launching in 2026. She also coordinates the Chamber Gift Certificate Program, which generates approximately $100,000 annually where 100% of those funds benefit directly into the local economy.
Those who nominated Beougher praised her tireless advocacy for others, her commitment to recognizing volunteers and community leaders, and her unwavering dedication to highlighting the successes of local businesses and organizations.
“Stacy is the embodiment of what this award represents,” said representatives of Chamber Professionals of Ohio. “Her leadership, humility, and passion for community have left a lasting impact on Celina and Mercer County, and she is truly deserving of this statewide recognition.”
Beougher will be formally honored at the 2026 CPO Winter Conference Awards Dinner on January 28, 2026, from 5:30–7:00 p.m., held at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
