Former Wapakoneta nonprofit leader pleads guilty in sex abuse case
WAPAKONETA, Ohio A former nonprofit leader in Wapakoneta has pleaded guilty in a case involving allegations of sexual contact with a minor.
The Auglaize County Prosecutor’s Office says 33-year-old Paige Fiebelkorn pleaded guilty Friday morning to two felony counts of sexual battery and one count of tampering with evidence.
Fiebelkorn had previously been indicted on 16 charges, including unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, sexual battery, tampering with evidence, and providing alcohol to a minor. The indictment alleged the incidents occurred between September of last year and February 2025, involving a male victim who was under 16 at the time.
A sentencing date has not been set. Prosecutors say Fiebelkorn faces up to 13 years in prison and would be classified as a Tier 3 sex offender.
As a result of the guilty plea, bond has been terminated, and Fiebelkorn is currently being held in the Auglaize County Jail.
