Celina City Council agenda: water rate ordinance, Bryson Park lease, mutual aid agreement on Feb. 9

Celina City Council will meet Monday, February 9, 2026, in Council Chambers at 225 North Main Street. A Committee of the Whole meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., followed by the regular council meeting at 7 p.m.

Council will open with prayer and the pledge, then take roll call and consider approval of the agenda and the minutes from the January 26 meeting. Committee reports are expected, including the Utility Committee report from January 26.

Under new business, council will consider three ordinances. One would authorize a lease agreement between the City of Celina and the Celina Concert Series for the lease of the Bryson Park District. Another ordinance would amend the city’s water rate ordinance originally passed October 26, 2009, and is listed as an emergency measure. A third ordinance would authorize the mayor to enter into a Mercer County countywide mutual aid and assistance agreement.

Old business includes two items listed for third reading. A resolution would authorize the sale of city owned personal property by internet auction during calendar year 2026, for items that are no longer needed, obsolete, or unfit for public use. Another resolution would authorize the mayor to serve as the city’s delegate to represent Celina as a member of the board of directors of the Ohio Municipal Electric Association.

Administrative reports are also scheduled before council closes with “for the good of the order” and adjournment.
