Coldwater Council Hears Development Plat, Street Updates and Land Discussion

Coldwater Village Council moved forward on a new housing development plat and received updates on multiple infrastructure projects during its latest meeting.

Village Manager Jason Eyink said council held the first reading of Ordinance 1774, which would accept the plat for RK Development Phase 2. Eyink said that phase includes 13 new residential lots.

Council also went into executive session to discuss land matters.

Eyink said council was informed that work on Second Street should begin this week. He said crews are expected to start with storm line work on the north end of the street.

He also said village crews have been busy over the past couple of weeks installing water lines on East Plum Street. According to Eyink, crews are continuing work there again this week with the goal of wrapping up the project soon.
