The Minster Board of Education will meet Monday, March 16, at 7 p.m. in the Elementary Large Group Meeting Room.
Board members are scheduled to begin the meeting with approval of the agenda, acceptance of donations and recognition of students.
The board will also receive reports from the superintendent, elementary and high school principals, booster organizations, and curriculum and instruction.
Several items are listed under the consent agenda. Those include the treasurer’s report, approval of minutes, the financial report, payment of bills, a budget performance update, a now and then certificate, and modified appropriations.
Also included in the consent agenda are several items from Superintendent Josh Meyer, including approval of a memorandum of understanding with Edison State Community College to continue College Credit Plus, recognition of winter sports athletes and coaches, approval of an FFA trip to the Washington Leadership Conference, and a resolution authorizing membership in the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
Under new business, the board is expected to consider Tri Star Advisory Referral Number 140, adoption of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, a first reading of new and revised policies, and personnel recommendations.
The agenda also includes board and district comments, confirmation of the next regular meeting, and an executive session for discussion of employment and compensation of a public employee, the purchase or sale of property, security arrangements and emergency response protocols, and preparation for negotiations.
