St. Marys man indicted on multiple sex-related charges in Auglaize County

AUGLAIZE COUNTY, Ohio — A St. Marys man is facing multiple felony charges following a recent indictment in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court.

According to court records, Robert J. Burden, 48, was indicted on six charges, including:

• Two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, both third-degree felonies

• Four counts of importuning, all fifth-degree felonies

The charges stem from alleged incidents that took place in June 2024 within Auglaize County.

Court documents indicate the indictment was filed on March 19, 2026. A warrant was issued the same day, and Burden was taken into custody on March 20 by the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office.
