Meet the Candidates Night Set for April 7 in Wapakoneta

A meet the candidates night is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at the Wapakoneta City Schools Performing Arts Center, 1 Redskin Trail.

The event is expected to feature several Republican candidates running for Auglaize County offices.

Scheduled to appear are Ben Elder, candidate for Auglaize County prosecuting attorney; Linda Bice, candidate for county auditor; Mandy Frank, candidate for county treasurer; and Zach Ferrall and Kristina Morris, who are running for common pleas court judge for the domestic relations, juvenile and probate divisions.

Voters in Auglaize County will also be considering several issues on the May 5 ballot.

Those include a proposed 2 mill, 5 year additional tax for parks and recreation, along with proposed tax levy renewals for the Minster Local School District and the Waynesfield Goshen Local School District.
