The Celina City Council is set to meet Monday evening with several key items on the agenda, including funding approvals and a proposed beekeeping ordinance.
Council members will gather at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers at 225 North Main Street for their regular meeting.
Among the new business items is an ordinance that would appropriate funds for travel related to the Japanese Sister City anniversary, as well as advance procurement of a bucket truck for the city’s Electric Department. The measure includes an emergency declaration, which would allow it to take effect immediately if approved.
Also on the agenda under old business is the second reading of an ordinance that would authorize and regulate beekeeping within the City of Celina. The proposal was previously amended during the March 23rd council meeting.
In addition to those items, council will review and approve minutes from previous meetings, hear committee and administrative reports, and allow for public comment during audience communications.
The meeting will conclude with final remarks before adjournment.
