Betty Ann Lennartz, 70, of St. Marys, OH passed away peacefully at 9:14 a.m. Monday April 13, 2026 in her residence, surrounded by members of her loving family.

She was born January 19, 1956 in Norton, VA.

Survivors include:

daughter Jennifer Fischer of St. Marys, OH

son Adam Harruff of St. Marys, OH

son Matthew (Kayla) Harruff of St. Marys, OH

3 grandchildren: Emilee Fischer, Ella Fischer, Jaxon Nale

1 great-grandchild Brynn Bryant

brother Bernard Slife of Celina, OH

sister Karen DeMoss of Lake Wales, FL

brother Peter Brickey of Lake Wales, FL

brother Michael Brickey of Lake Wales, FL

Preceded in death by her adoptive parents Lee Irvin and Doris Nell (Justis) Slife.

She was a graduate of Butler High School in Vandalia, OH Class of 1974).

Prior to becoming disabled, she worked as a professional dog groomer for many years.

Betty (better known as “Nana” to her family) will be fondly remembered for her love of hot fudge sundaes, hummingbirds, floral gardening,baking, cooking, playing rummy, Yahtzee, dogs, Bigfoot and watching programs related to the supernatural. More than anything else, she absolutely treasure the times spent with her family.

Private family services will be held.
