Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber highlights upcoming events and local opportunities
NEW BREMEN - Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber of Commerce Director Sara Topp is encouraging residents to stay involved in upcoming events and continue supporting local businesses across the Golden Triangle.
In an update shared with WCSM listeners, Topp highlighted several upcoming chamber and community activities, including a West Ohio Young Professionals event set for May 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature representatives from Ohio DERM, Grand Lake Health System, and Anytime Fitness. Those interested are asked to RSVP through the West Ohio Young Professionals Facebook page.
Topp also promoted Western Ohio True Value’s Grill Demo Day on Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., where grill representatives will be on site to showcase products and offer samples.
She said those interested in the countywide leadership class for 2026 through 2027 should join the waiting list soon, as spots are expected to fill quickly. Interested individuals can contact the St. Marys Chamber, Wapakoneta Chamber, or Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber.
Topp also announced a chamber trip to Portugal planned for April 8 through 17, 2027, in partnership with Colette and Moon City Travel. An informational meeting on that trip is scheduled for April 28 at 6 p.m. at the Lockkeeper’s House in New Bremen.
The Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber’s annual luncheon will be held May 12 at 11:30 a.m. at Faith Alliance Church. Registration is available through the chamber’s website under the events tab.
Looking ahead, Topp said the next Golden Triangle Golf Outing is scheduled for Friday, August 28, at Arrowhead Golf Course in Minster with an 11 a.m. shotgun start.
She also reminded residents that chamber gift certificates are available through the chamber office at the Lockkeeper’s House or any Minster Bank location in southwestern Auglaize County, saying they are a good way to keep more money in the local economy.
Topp closed by encouraging residents to support local businesses, schools, service clubs, and communities by shopping local and backing the region’s “golden communities.”
