Three drug indictments filed in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court

WAPAKONETA - Three people are facing felony drug charges in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court following indictments filed April 21.

Court records show 38 year old Anthony Edward Howard of Wapakoneta was indicted on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony. The charge is tied to an alleged offense date of Nov. 12, 2025, in Auglaize County. Records show Howard was arrested April 23 and brought to court. He was later granted an own recognizance bond, with conditions that include no alcohol or drugs, no leaving Ohio without court permission, and no further law violations while the case is pending. Court records also show Howard was told to notify the court by April 30 on whether he had retained legal counsel.

Also indicted was 42 year old Ashleigh Christine Chiles of Wapakoneta on one count of possession of cocaine, a fifth degree felony. The alleged offense date is listed as Dec. 28, 2025, in Auglaize County. Records show Chiles was arrested April 23 and brought before the court.

In a separate case, 36 year old Adam Douglas Peters of Wapakoneta was indicted on one count of possession of drugs, also a fifth degree felony. That charge is also tied to an alleged offense date of Dec. 28, 2025, in Auglaize County. Court records show Peters was arrested April 23 and brought to court.

All three cases remain open in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court.
