St. Henry Athletic Boosters Move Forward With New Press Box Project At Wally Post Athletic Complex
Construction is officially underway on a new press box at the Wally Post Athletic Complex in St. Henry.
The St. Henry Athletic Booster Club announced the project on social media, saying the new facility will replace the current structure with a larger, modern, code compliant space. The updated press box will include dedicated areas for home and visiting coaches, expanded room for scoreboard operations, and improved media and game day accommodations.
St. Henry School Superintendent Adam Puthoff said the district is excited to partner with the Athletic Boosters on the project.
Puthoff said the new press box is something the district and boosters have discussed for several years. After blueprints and pricing were completed, the boosters decided to move forward with the project.
He said the boosters are now seeking donations from the public to help support construction. As part of the fundraising effort, a Legacy Wall will be installed near the concession stands to recognize supporters, with optional anonymity available for donors.
Puthoff said demolition is currently underway, with hopes of having the new press box ready by the end of the year.
The Athletic Booster Club said residents should have recently received a postcard with additional project details and ways to contribute. Anyone interested in supporting the project is encouraged to contact a Booster Club member or send a direct message to the St. Henry Athletic Boosters.
The announcement comes as St. Henry Athletics continues to build on recent championship success, including the 2025 state football championship, 2026 girls state basketball championship, and 2026 state bowling championship.
