Pink Anchor Foundation Events


CELINA, OHIO — The Pink Anchor Foundation is inviting the community to participate in three upcoming events designed to raise awareness and provide direct support to local individuals and families facing breast cancer.

The foundation serves Mercer, Auglaize, Darke, and Van Wert counties, providing financial assistance, education, compassion, and community support. Every dollar raised remains local and directly benefits breast cancer patients within these four counties.

"Our mission is to ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone," said representatives of the Pink Anchor Foundation. "Community support can make an incredible difference during one of life's most difficult journeys.

Pink Ribbon Classic Golf Tournament — August 29, 2026 The Pink Ribbon Classic will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Northmoor Golf Course in Celina.

The four-person scramble tournament combines golf with breast cancer awareness and fundraising. Participants will enjoy specialty hole competitions, a five-hole poker run, raffles, prizes, and interactive games throughout the course.

The tournament has become one of the foundation's signature fundraising events, bringing together golfers, local businesses, sponsors, and volunteers to support families affected by breast cancer.

Paddle for Breast Cancer: The Hunt for the Hoedag — September 12, 2026

The foundation's newest event, Paddle for Breast Cancer: The Hunt for the Hoedag, will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

Beginning at Windy Point, paddlers will travel to participating locations, including It's It Restaurant, Bubba Buoys, and Shingle Shack, while searching for the legendary Hoedag hidden throughout Grand Lake.

The event combines outdoor recreation, local businesses, and community involvement while raising funds to support local breast cancer patients.

Pink Ribbon Flag Display — October 2026

Throughout the month of October, visitors to Eastview Park in Celina will have the opportunity to experience one of the foundation's most meaningful awareness projects.

More than 43,000 pink flags will be placed to create a large breast cancer awareness ribbon, serving as a powerful visual reminder of the thousands of individuals and families whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

The display is intended to encourage conversations about early detection, honor survivors, remember loved ones, and remind those currently fighting breast cancer that their community stands beside them.
