Three people were injured in a two vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Darke County.

According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, deputies along with Gettysburg Rescue, Bradford Rescue and Bradford Fire responded around 3:31 p.m. to the intersection of New Harrison Bradford Road and Zerber Road.

A preliminary investigation found that 42 year old Grant Knick of Bradford was driving a 2016 Honda Accord east on New Harrison Bradford Road and attempting to turn north onto Zerber Road.

Deputies say Knick traveled into the path of a westbound 1988 GMC truck driven by 17 year old Wyatt Jay of Bradford. The vehicles collided and both traveled off the roadway before coming to rest in a ditch.

Jay was treated and released at the scene. A female passenger in his vehicle was transported to Kettering Hospital in Troy with minor injuries.

Knick was transported to Wayne HealthCare with non life threatening injuries.
