Minster Council to Consider Waterline Project, Annexation and School Land Exchange September 1

MINSTER, Ohio — Water infrastructure projects, a proposed annexation and a land exchange with Minster Local Schools are on the agenda for Minster Village Council’s meeting Tuesday, September 1.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in Village Council Chambers.

Council is scheduled to consider bids and an emergency ordinance awarding the North Garfield Street Waterline Replacement Project. Members will also consider an agreement with Choice One Engineering for the Midway Water Line Loop Project and an agreement with CDM Smith to reassess wastewater surcharge rates.

A proposed annexation of approximately 1.32 acres from Jackson Township into the village is scheduled for a third and final reading. Council will also give a third and final reading to a resolution approving the elimination of the Auglaize County Solid Waste District’s generation fee.

Second readings are planned for a land exchange agreement with the Minster Local School District Board of Education and an ordinance levying special assessments for street improvements that include sidewalk and driveway approach repairs.
