Temporary Water Shutoff Planned for Celina Road and Sandy Beach Residents

The City of St. Marys is advising some residents of a temporary water shutoff as crews prepare to place a new water line into service.

The shutoff will affect Celina Road residents west of State Route 364 and all Sandy Beach residents.

According to the city, the work is tentatively scheduled to begin at approximately 11 p.m. Thursday, September 10. If necessary preparations cannot be completed in time, the shutoff will instead begin at approximately 11 p.m. Monday, September 14.

The St. Marys Water Department will work continuously to keep the interruption as short as possible.

The work will complete the Celina Road portion of the multiyear Villa Nova Water Main Project. Residents were initially notified of the larger project in August 2024, while Celina Road residents received additional information in July.

Anyone with questions may contact the St. Marys Water Department at 419-394-4114.
