A Sidney man was injured in a single-vehicle crash near Versailles Saturday night.

According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the 11400 block of Marshall Road at approximately 10:07 p.m. Saturday, September 26, after an automated crash alert was issued by Life360.

Deputies arrived to find a vehicle off the roadway on its side.

Investigators say a black 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 22-year-old Tevin Felver of Sidney was traveling southbound on Marshall Road when he lost control of the vehicle. The pickup crossed the centerline, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Following the impact, the truck overturned onto its side and Felver was ejected from the vehicle.

Felver was transported to Miami Valley Hospital, where authorities say he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Versailles Police Department, Versailles Fire and Rescue and CareFlight also responded to the scene.

The Darke County Sheriff’s Office says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
