Two people were treated at the scene of an early-morning rollover crash Thursday in Darke County.
The Darke County Sheriff’s Office says deputies, North Star Fire Department and Osgood EMS were called to the area of North Star Fort Loramie Road and Rismiller Road around 1:38 a.m.
Investigators say 19-year-old Syenna Purdin of Greenville was driving a 2015 Jeep Cherokee west on North Star Fort Loramie Road when she lost control of the vehicle.
The Jeep traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert before continuing off the road and hitting a large pile of rocks.
The impact caused the vehicle to return to the roadway and overturn onto its top.
Purdin and her front-seat passenger, 20-year-old Makenna Guillozet of Versailles, were treated at the scene by Osgood EMS and declined additional medical treatment.
The Sheriff’s Office says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
