Sheriff Doug Timmerman reports drug arrests:  On Friday October 2, 2026, at 8:17 AM Mercer County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center received a call of possible drug activity going on at 5196 Siegrist Jutte Road, rural Coldwater Ohio.  Deputies responded to the call and through the investigation determined possible drug activity going on inside the residence.  Deputies were assisted by the Grand Lake Task Force (Detectives from Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, Celina Police Department, and Coldwater Police Department) with securing the residence.  Detectives applied for a search warrant and the warrant was granted by Celina Municipal Court Judge Kathryn Speelman. 

The Search warrant was executed at 10:14 AM.  During the search, investigators found suspected methamphetamines and heroin.  Taken into custody was Aron Lange, age 35 address listed at 5196 Siegrist Jutte Road, and Deven Dugger, age 30 also listed at the Siegrist Jutte Road address.  Both males are preliminarily charged with Possession of Drugs a felony of the 5^th degree and currently held in the Mercer County Adult Detention facility currently on no bond.

This case will be forwarded to Mercer County Prosecutor Erin Minor for further review and possible additional charges.
