23-Year-Old Spencerville Woman Held Without Bond in Auglaize County Vehicular Assault Case
A 23-year-old Spencerville woman is being held without bond in connection with an alleged March incident in Auglaize County.
According to the Auglaize County jail roster, Addison Renee Donaghey was booked into the county jail Thursday, October 2.
Donaghey is charged with four counts of aggravated vehicular assault or vehicular assault, four counts of operating a vehicle while impaired and one count of felonious assault. Court records list March 15, 2026, as the date of the alleged offenses.
The multiple OVI counts allege different violations of Ohio’s impaired-driving law connected with the same incident.
Donaghey was initially indicted in June and pleaded not guilty. She was released on her own recognizance under several conditions, including orders not to drive, consume alcohol or drugs, commit additional offenses or contact the alleged victim or the victim’s family.
A second indictment was filed in July, and the original indictment was later dismissed. The second indictment contains the charges currently displayed by the jail.
The defense requested a mental examination in August, and the court subsequently ordered a psychological evaluation. A court entry addressing competency was filed October 2, the same day Donaghey was booked into jail. The publicly available docket does not disclose the contents of that ruling.
Authorities have not released an official narrative identifying the location of the incident, the people allegedly injured or the circumstances surrounding the charges.
Donaghey is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
