Teen remains in custody following threats against Colerain High School
A 13-year-old middle school student will remain in juvenile detention following alleged threats of violence against Colerain High School.
Authorities said the teenager posted a message on social media threatening to shoot people at the school on October 7.
Officials said it was the second threat allegedly made by the teenager within the past two months.
The boy is a student at White Oak Middle School and had reportedly been habitually truant.
A Hamilton County judge denied a request to release the teenager to his parents and ordered him to remain in juvenile detention. He is facing both felony and misdemeanor charges.
Authorities have not disclosed a possible motive for the alleged threats.
