Minster Council to consider final street-name changes Tuesday
MINSTER — Minster Village Council will consider the final reading of an ordinance changing the names of certain village streets during its meeting Tuesday.
The changes are intended to make village street names consistent with Auglaize County’s 911 addressing and emergency-response system. Village Administrator Don Harrod previously said discrepancies involved Midway Drive and Industrial Drive.
Council will also consider a resolution accepting tax rates established by the Auglaize County Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary property-tax levies.
Other agenda items include invoices exceeding $3,000, the September income-tax report prepared by the City of St. Marys and a request allowing Harmony for Ohio to use several village streets for its annual Turkey Trot on November 26.
The village reports receipts totaling nearly $2.9 million and invoices of approximately $1.18 million.
Council is also scheduled to enter an executive session to discuss the sale of land.
The meeting begins at 6:30 Tuesday evening in the Minster Village Council Chambers.
