In Mercer County, all six local tax levies received majority approval, while Republican State Representative Angie King and Congressman Jim Jordan received strong support from county voters.
Statewide, Democrats scored two major victories, with Amy Acton projected to win Ohio's governor's race and Sherrod Brown winning the U.S. Senate contest.
Meanwhile, Auglaize County election results remain incomplete, with the latest report available to WCSM showing only 10 of the county's 42 precincts reporting. Full unofficial results are expected Wednesday, November 4.

"I'm thrilled with the results. I want to thank the voters for their trust and support. I appreciate the kind words and words of encouragement along the way," King said.
"It is truly an honor to represent the district. The 84th is the best of Ohio. I look forward to continuing the good work we've started, and I'm committed to working hard for the district and promote policies that support our communities, families, and small businesses."
King concluded by saying, "And again, I just want to thank the voters for allowing me to be their voice in Columbus."
