Celina City Council Meeting for February 12th

The Celina City Council met Monday February 12th. The evening began with a discussion from the Safety Services Committee concerning a possible EMS Boat for the fire department and a firing range for the Police Department. To hear comments with Celina Mayor Jeff Hazel:

During the regular meeting, the Council passed the first reading of a resolution asking the state to change the speed limit on a portion of State Route 29, otherwise known as Logan Street, just of the Celina Corporation Line. In other business, the Celina City Council passed the second reading of ordinances allowing the city to accept grants from the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation to purchase items for the fire department. The Council also passed the second reading of legislation accepting a donation from Kathy Sharkey for the Splash Pad in the new Bryson Park District.
